How to Watch AFL on Your TCL Television

Now that we have smart TV’s like TCL, it is much easier to stream AFL highlights and replays later on-demand as well as viewing the live games. Foxtel and Kayo hold exclusive streaming rights for AFL in Australia, meaning replays can only be accessed via these providers.
Stream AFL live on Kayo
Kayo Sports is a streaming service that gives you access to every game from every round, Live with no ad breaks during play. Kayo are currently offering a free 14 day trial. Their basic package starts from $25/month and there is no lock in terms, being you are free to cancel at any time.
Kayo also offers the unique Kaye minis option for those who like to view quick, bite-sized match replays from the game featuring their favourite teams. And TCL offers the Kayo app preloaded into their android platform for ease of use.
The Kayo app even allows you to watch a specific game using the ‘No Spoilers’ feature. This ensures you don’t see any game results before you’ve watched all the action at a more appropriate time.
Stream AFL with Foxtel Now
Foxtel Now also has a dedicated Channel for AFL, the Fox Footy channel includes access to Fox Sports (live AFL/AFLW) in Australia. The Sports Pack is included in the Foxtel Now Free Trial Period. After your free trial is over the pack is available for $29 per month on top of the Essentials Base Pack ($24 per month). You can cancel your Foxtel Now plan at any time.
The Foxtel Now app can be downloaded through the Google Play store accessible through your TCL TV.
Watch AFL live with Foxtel
Foxtel cable or satellite is an option for those with the suitable connection. You will need to have Sports HD access as part of your Foxtel subscription. All Foxtel customers get access to the Foxtel Go app meaning you can view every game from every round of the AFL and AFLW seasons. You can also download Foxtel Go from Google Play on the TCL Android system.
Watch AFL on free-to-air
Of course you can always enjoy free-to-air coverage, with Channel 7 being the official provider for the Toyota AFL Premiership in Australia. Channel 7 broadcasts three matches per week, as well as the Finals and the Grand Final at the MCG. AFL TV streaming isn’t available with 7Plus, however, as streaming rights are exclusive to Foxtel and Kayo.
