Together with the quantum dot layer, this results in both darker blacks as well as brighter and more vivid colours. Full Array and Local Dimming

These two clever technologies go hand-in-hand. Full Array groups the thousands of individual LEDs into local dimming zones. Each of these dimming zones can then be individually controlled, allowing more even backlight illumination across the whole screen. Furthermore, it offers darker blacks, boosts overall screen contrast and delivers more accurate colour reproduction. The C755 Series includes up to 1536 local dimming zones depending upon the screen size chosen.

IMAX Enhanced

IMAX Enhanced is a processing standard similar to HDR10+ and Dolby Vision that brings some of the clarity and impact of the big movie screens to your home viewing. The Extras

The C755 Series pumps up the Clear Motion Rate to 200CMR, further reducing motion blur. The addition of Freesync Premium Pro also enhances both viewing and gaming activities. Further building upon the solid foundations of the C755 Series, the C855 smart TVs boost both visual and audio quality. Screen sizes on offer for this series range between the 65-inch TV up to the 98-inch model.

Enhanced Screen Quality

The C855 Series televisions once again utilise TCL’s Mini LED backlight with quantum dot technology. For this series, however, the number of local dimming zones has been increased to approximately 1300-2300 (depending upon screen size). This delivers much finer control over different regions of the screen resulting in smoother gradients and amazing realism. Furthermore, peak brightness has been boosted to 3300 nits for the 65-inch Tv models and 3500 nits for 75-inch TV sizes and above.

Enhanced Audio Quality

Adding to the already impressive Onkyo Audio sound setup, the C855 Series adds two dedicated up-firing speakers.
