Saturday, 3 September

Did you miss the start of the IFA trade show or do you want to know what happened on the TCL stand over the weekend? Read all about it in our article reviewing the weekend!

The weekend began in Berlin and the first visitors arrived at the trade show. TCL's staff were excited to welcome curious and techy visitors on the TCL stand.

Visitors discovered the new Xclusive X1 TV which had been launched the day before at the breakfast with the Press as well as TCL's other innovations and TVs, including the curved 65" 8K UHD TV and the TCL Cityline S79 line (S79 series).

The Xclusive X1 TV incorporates the most advanced and innovative nanocrystal technology: Quantum Dot without cadmium. This technology, combined with a more dynamic High Dynamic Range (HDR), can reproduce the colour spectrum more easily with even more realistic luminosity!

The curved 65" 8K UHD TV was at the centre of attention with its screen manufactured by CSOT which has 8 times more pixels than a TV equipped with Full HD resolution and active 3D function.

The TCL Cityline line (S79 series) and its ultra-slim design (only 9.9 mm thick) integrates 4K UHD display technology and Wide Color Gamut technology which improves the DCI-P3 colour gamut's colour range by 93%.

This Scandinavian-designed TV has a special base which makes it a unique and particularly aesthetic object in a welcoming and cosy living room.

TCL's most important news about the beginning of the IFA trade show was that it won the 2016 IFA Product Technical Innovation Award for its new Xclusive X1 TV.

After a selection process of over six months, the IFA's "Quantum Dot Technology Gold Award" was awarded to TCL for its new Xclusive X1 QUHD quantum dot TV, the "Q65X1S-CUD".

Sunday morning, 4 September

On the last day of the weekend, visitors took their time looking round the stand and stopped to participate in the TCL Quiz hoping to win a TCL TV!

Sunday afternoon

Some visitors went to the Gaming corner to play the games on demonstration while others came to listen to and experience the unique sound of JBL by Harman integrated into TCL's Xclusive X1 TV. With its integrated 3-way audio system, JBL speakers and their unique design offered visitors high-fidelity immersive sound and the ultimate home theatre and entertainment experience.

Sunday was the last day of the IFA trade show and also ended a weekend full of technological and entertaining surprises.
