TCL unveils new family of products for most immersive home entertainment experiences at CES 2016

World’s Third Largest TV Brand Introduces the “Xclusive” (S99 Series) for Advancements in 4K, High-Dynamic Range Performance, Quantum Dot Technologies for Ultimate TV Viewing and new ultra-slim “Cityline” (S79 Series) to provide an exceptional viewer experience in 4K

TCL, a leading consumer electronics manufacturer in China and one of the biggest television manufacturers in the world, today announced the introduction of a new family of QUHD products, including the TCL Ultra HD 4K S99 Series, and also presented the TCL Ultra HD 4K S79 Series. The new line-up of products feature leading high-dynamic range (HDR) performance from Dolby Vision for bright, vivid colors and contrast, Quantum Dot technology for exceptional color resolution and clarity, and advanced Ultra HD 4K technology with a wider variety of content options. The company is also showcasing its leading 110’’ 4K Ultra HD Curved TV, for which it received the honour of a CES Innovation Award.

TCL “Xclusive” (S99 Series): Combining the Best Picture and Sound Quality, Design and Function

The new Xclusive (S99) Series brings together the ultimate picture quality experience, high sound quality signed Harman Kardon, Nordic design and powerful audio and video system to create an upscale TV experience. By integrating groundbreaking HDR display technology and Quantum Dot technology and UHD resolution, the 65” S99 Series delivers a wide color gamut and up to 1000 nits peak brightness for greater color resolution and clarity.

To deliver the latest in HDR technology, TCL has partnered with Dolby Vision to integrate its award winning HDR technology into the S99 series. Dolby Vision HDR incorporates brightness up to 3 times more intense than today’s standard UHD TV sets, maintaining lifelike color and detail, while the deep darks provide a new level of richness and precision.

The new 65’’ TCL Xclusive (U65S9906) will be available in the second half of 2016 in Europe.

TCL “Cityline” (S79 Series): Fusing Affordable Luxury with Ultra-slim Style

The TCL Cityline (S79) Series, with its ultra-slim design (thickness of only 9.9 mm), incorporates the edge technology found in the UHD family to provide an exceptional viewer experience, including the Wide Color Gamut technology, which can enhance the color gamut up to NTSC 96% to provide more vivid colors. TCL Cityline (S79 Series) is also equipped with a special "Football" mode for an optimal viewing experience during a broadcasted match.

The TCL Cityline (S79 Series) will be available in 3 sizes (50’’, 55’’ & 65’’) from first quarter of 2016 in Europe.

TCL Honored by CES, CTA for 110” Curved Ultra HD Television

TCL is also showcasing its award-winning 110’’ Curved UHD TV at its booth and press event. The 110’’ curved TV was recently selected by CES as a 2016 Innovation Awards Honoree, which are sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™.

The TV integrates a variety of innovative technologies and features to provide consumers with an exceptional viewing experience. New features include:

• • Intelligent and dynamic backlighting and local dimming for greater contrast and improved image quality 
• • High Dynamic Range for dramatic contrast
• • Wide color gamut for a fuller color palette
• • Enhanced field depth for sharper images

It also incorporates unique design elements to integrate seamlessly into the home. With an enormous, high-quality 110’’ 4K screen, viewers can fully immerse themselves in realistic, sharper images for a more compelling experience.
