TCL to launch its flagship TV Xclusive X1 series at IFA 2016

TCL, a leading consumer electronics manufacturer in China and one of the biggest television manufacturers in the world, is going to launch its flagship product – the 65” QUHD Curved 4K TV Xclusive X1 Series – at the 56th Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA). The Xclusive X1 Series is TCL’s latest product that is created to lead the trend in LCD TV business with Ultra-HD resolution, high brightness, vibrant color, deep contrast and power efficiency. The flagship product will be launched in Europe in Q4 2016.
The worlds slimmest HDR local dimming LCD TV
The premium TCL TV Xclusive X1 Series comes with multiple impressive features, representing TCL’s latest technologies.
Firstly, it uses environmentally friendly, cadmium free Quantum Dot technology, the most advanced technology that makes High Dynamic Range (HDR) more dynamic by enabling TVs to reproduce pure colors with lifelike brightness using cutting-edge nano-crystal technology. In addition, primary colors wavelengths delivered by Quantum Dot technology are narrow enough (around 40nm) to meet digital cinema color gamut at 93% of DCI-P3 color space.
Secondly, it uses a full-array local dimming (288 zones) LED backlighting system to deliver 1500 nits peak brightness in HDR, 600 nits brightness for standard tv and enormous dynamic range.
It supports HDR upconversion (SDR-to-HDR upscaling) which converts any SDR signal to near HDR quality. In addition, it is equipped with a 3 way audio high-class speaker system developed by JBL, and the black crystal display screen greatly reduces light reflection from 3% to 0,9% and the direct reflection by 90% to effectively display even the black hair in a dark environment.
It’s 360° All-In-One Design uses no screws or seams to maintain the elegant beauty of the product itself.
The new Xclusive X1 Series brings together the ultimate picture quality experience, high sound quality, Scandinavian modernist design and powerful audio and video system to create an upscale TV experience. The thickness of only 17.4mm makes it the slimmest HDR local dimming LCD TV and last but not least, the TV TCL Xclusive Series support Android TV 7.0 the latest version of Android TV OS.
