Fire TV Remotes:
1. Unplug your Fire TV and wait for 60 seconds.
2. Simultaneously press and hold the Left, Menu, and Back buttons for 12 seconds.
3. Release the buttons and wait for 5 seconds.
4. Remove the batteries from your remote.
5. Plug in your Fire TV and wait until you see the screen indicating that the remote can't be detected.
6. Reinsert the batteries into your remote.
7. Press the Home button.
8. When the LED indicator blinks blue, your remote is successfully paired. If not, press the Home button for 10 seconds. Basic Edition Remote:
1. Press and hold the Home button. Meanwhile, press the Menu button three times.
2. Release the Home button.
3. Press the Menu button nine times.
4. Remove the batteries from your remote.
5. Unplug your Fire TV and wait for 60 seconds.
6. Reinsert the batteries into your remote, then plug in your Fire TV.
7. Once the Home screen appears, press and hold the Home button for 40 seconds.
8. Allow 60 seconds for the setup to complete. Alexa Voice Remote (1st Generation):
1. Unplug your Fire TV and wait for 60 seconds.
2. Press and hold the Left and Menu buttons simultaneously for 12 seconds.
3. Release the buttons and wait for 5 seconds.
4. Remove the batteries from your remote.
5. Plug in your Fire TV and wait until you see the screen indicating that the remote can't be detected.
6. Reinsert the batteries into your remote.
7. Press the Home button on the remote.
8. Your remote should now be paired. If not, press the Home button for 10 seconds.
