While in HDMI signal mode, the split-screen option is accessible, but in DP mode, it's grayed out and cannot be adjusted.

Please check if you have HDR enabled. You need to turn off this setting. You can quickly toggle it on/off by pressing WIN+ALT+B. Under DP/HDMI, enabling HDR may prevent the setting of dual screens.
