Prime Video Not Working on Your Fire TV?

Streaming issues or errors like, 'Something went wrong' or 'Unable to play.'

Tip: If you've recently bought the video you're attempting to watch, head to Your Orders to confirm that the purchase went through.

Ensure that your Fire TV is running the latest software version. To check for updates, navigate to Settings, then My Fire TV or Device & Software.

Note: For Echo Show 15 users, refer to Update the Software on Your Echo Device.

Restart your Fire TV. You can do this from the Settings menu or by unplugging the power adapter for 1 minute, then reconnecting it.

Reboot your modem and router. Follow these steps:

1. Disconnect your modem and router for 30 seconds.
2. Reconnect your modem first, waiting for the lights to indicate it's connected to the internet.
3. Then reconnect your router, waiting for its lights to show internet connection.

Clear the cache and data for the Prime Video app. Navigate to Settings on your Fire TV, then select Applications.

Ensure that your HDMI cable and display are compatible with HDCP 1.4 (for HD content) or HDCP 2.2 (for UHD/HDR content).
