TCL Warranty
In the event that you should require service assistance, please contact the TCL Customer Careline at 1800810014 (Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm * Excluding public holidays) or email service.my@tcl.com. Please have your full TCL Model number and serial number, date and proof of purchase, and a brief description of the fault/query ready when contacting our service team.
If the Product requires repair, we may, at our option and sole discretion, repair, replace, or exchange it with an equivalent product or part(s) of similar technical specification that may be refurbished or new. We will retain the replaced part(s) or product that was exchanged during service as TCL’s property. Repaired, replaced, or exchanged parts or the Product will continue to be under warranty for the remaining Product warranty period.
TCL service team may refuse to attend to any products installed in locations that are inaccessible and/or hazardous to its service agents. labour charges are payable by you for relocation of product to another location.
This Warranty does not provide coverage if the Product is situated outside of Malaysia.
Various product models have differing specifications, functions, display, appearance, and performance, and are not regarded as a defect in the product.
If the product is covered by an extended warranty provided by the dealer, you should contact the dealer from whom this extended warranty was purchased. (usually, the same dealer from which the product was originally purchased.)
The Warranty is NOT valid in the following cases:
a) The defect is caused (howsoever) by wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, rough handling or abuse. It is invalidated if unauthorized persons carry out any alterations or repairs.
b) The warranty card or proof of purchase has been altered, defaced, or erased in any manner whatsoever .
c) You do not provide us with the original proof of purchase, which must include the following information: name and address of seller, date, and place of purchase, product model and serial number OR warranty card with stamp chop of seller, date and place of purchase, product model and serial number .
d) Product purchased from non-authorised dealers or from overseas (unless applicable international warranty applies) .
e) Cosmetic damage (dent, crack, scratch & etc.).
f) Spillage of food/liquids.
g) Operating with incorrect or irregular voltage supply.
h) Corrosion, rusting or stains.
i) Improper testing, operation, demonstration, maintenance, installation, adjustment or any alteration or modification of any kind.
j) If any part or parts of the unit are replaced with a part or parts not supplied or approved by us.
k) Repair or attempted repair by any party other than TCL authorized technician.
l) Where the product serial has been removed or made illegible or has been tampered with.
m) Use of the product in a commercial environment
where any ancillary equipment or software not furnished or approved by TCL causes problems or damage.
n) Failure to conduct user servicing or cleaning of the product or part (including heads, internal cavities, and accessible filters).
o) Infestation by insects or vermin.
p) Incomplete or improper installation.
q) Use of which is not designed.
r) Disasters such as floods, fires, winds, earthquakes or lightning
s) Damage due to foreign material.
t) Damage due to exposure to moisture, dampness, or extreme thermal environment conditions.
u) Where damage is a result of any failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions contained in any instruction manual, owner's manual, and/or user guides available in connection with the product.
Products Purchased From Abroad
The product that is not currently sold in Malaysia can be sent to TCL authorized service centers for a chargeable repair, subject to the terms and conditions stated herein.
