How close do the subwoofer and soundbar need to be placed to keep a reliable wireless connection?

The soundbar and the subwoofer need to be within 3 meters (approximately 10 feet) from each other. Please note that the soundbar and the subwoofer need to be in the same room, and there should not be any RF opaque object between them.
