A smart TV offer internet connectivity and support for a range of apps and allows you to access, manage, and view online and network-based media content. Once you connect your TV to internet, this opens up a world of new entertainment options, from streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube to smart home functionalities.
There are two ways to do it.
1. Wired connection: Use the RJ45 (LAN) connector on the back panel.
• Ensure you have:
•An Ethernet cable long enough to reach your TV
•A router or modem with an available Ethernet port
•A high-speed internet connection
•An Ethernet (LAN) port on the back of the TV
• Connect your Ethernet cable to the router and to the Ethernet port on the back of the TV.
• Use the Network & Internet menu to configure the TV:
• Automatic detection (recommend)
• Press Home Button on the remote control to display the Smart TV homepage.
• Press ▲/▼/◄/► to move the cursor to (Settings) on the right top of the screen and press OK to enter the system settings.
• Select network setting and switch on the Wired network button. Smart TV will automatic acquisition your internet.
• Wired network connected.
2. Wireless connection: use the internal wireless or external wireless USB adapter and your home wireless network.
• Ensure you have:
• A router broadcasting a high-speed wireless signal
• A high-speed internet connection
• Use the Network & Internet menu to configure the TV:
• Press Home Button on the remote control to display the Smart TV homepage.
• Press ▲/▼/◄/► to move the cursor to (Settings) on the right top of the screen and press OK to enter the system settings.
• Select network setting and switch on the WIFI button, enter your own WIFI password (Configure the network settings before using Smart TV applications)
• WIFI connected.
A cool thing you can do with your Smart TV is mirror your phone, laptop screen to the TV. Thanks to the built-in Chromecast, all you need to do is to have a chrome browser installed on your device and click the vertical 3-dot button on the top right corner and select the TV you want to cast. With that within seconds, you'll have your chrome screen mirrored and surf the internet on the biggest screen in your house.
Moreover, your Smart TV is compatible to a wide range of games. If you have a PS4, you can also use your existing PS4 Dual Shock controllers and connect them with your TV. Just follow these steps:
• On your controller, press and hold the PS and Share buttons simultaneously to enter pairing mode. The light behind the controller will start blinking.
• On your Smart TV, go to Settings, and then select Add accessory from the Remote & accessories option
• The Android TV will search for nearby Bluetooth accessories. Select Wireless Controller and your PS4 controller will be connected to the TV.
