The impetus for the CARE UX was to make watching TV easier for everyone. The International Paralympic Committee and the International Disability Alliance estimate that 15% of the world’s population suffers from some form of disability. The CARE UX democratizes the TV experience, giving everyone, including those who are disadvantaged, a rich and colorful TV experience. It solves the core problems disadvantaged users face by providing sign-language input, customized controls, color-blind filters, real-time captioning, and screen reading.
