Why is my laptop system running slow after first set up and connect to the internet?

When the laptop first set up and connected to the Internet, the system will detect updated patch, automatically download and update the content in the background. Multiple processes running at the same time will reduce the system speed. After the update is completed, the system will recover to normal speed.
