WPS is a simple, secure way to connect your devices to the internet. It's also easy to set up and use, which makes it an ideal option for connecting your devices. We'll walk you through the steps of setting up WPS on your router and wireless adapter so that you can get your device connected to the internet in no time flat!
WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is a standard that was developed by the Wi-Fi Alliance as an alternative to the security PIN method of entering a password on a device. The PIN method requires the user to enter the same password into both their router and any new device they wish to connect. WPS enables you to connect multiple devices to your wireless network without entering encryption keys. It's often used on routers or access points, but can also be found on some phones, computers, and other hardware.
Ease of use: The main advantage of WPS is its simplicity. It doesn't require any special equipment or software to connect two devices together; you simply need to know how to press a button on each device. This makes it ideal for connecting laptops, tablets and other types of mobile devices with your home network.
Security: WPS also provides security by preventing unauthorized access to your network when an intruder tries to guess your password over time through brute force attacks or dictionary attacks. The password must be at least eight characters long and include both uppercase and lowercase letters along with numbers and special characters such as asterisks or dollar signs ($).
To use WPS, you must first set up your router to support the WPS protocol. If you have an older router, it may not support WPS. If this is the case, you will need to connect your router to your computer using an Ethernet cable and configure it manually. Once your router is ready for WPS, you can begin connecting devices that support WPS.
