WHAT IS Mini LED

Mini LED is a more efficient and more effective way of backlighting an LCD screen. It shrinks the LED modules that greatly increase the number of Contrast Control Zones.

Displays have been revolutionized, with Contrast Control Zones Mini LED. This incredible resolution is delivered by an increased number of independent pixel-sized LED light sources - each one precisely controlled to produce deeper blacks, higher brightness, and greater contrast.

To keep up with the pack, TCL is launching its third-generation mini LED backlighting, dubbed OD Zero or Optical Depth Zero for X925 PRO, which refers to the distance between the backlight and LCD display layer in TVs featuring this technology. In another industry first for TCL, that distance is zero. Enjoy increased contrast ratios, better blacks and a boost to picture quality no matter what you're watching.
