Right now, we’re all adjusting to a new way of life. More than ever, it’s an important time to recognize we are all one community, support those who need it most, and find ways to give back and make a positive impact.
With that critical mission, TCLers recently stepped up in sharing their resources and capabilities to do just a small part toward helping the communities we serve. As a longtime supporter of the Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF), an organization with a simple mission to help underprivileged children and their families manage the journey of care that comes with a diagnosis of Cancer, TCL sponsored ENF’s inaugural golf tournament, Golf4Hope.
After a month of fundraising and promoting Golf4Hope, TCL’s employees, friends, families, and partners stepped up and showed up at the beautiful Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine, California, to raise over $145,000 and make the first-ever golf tournament in Orange County a SOLD OUT event.
Golf4Hope’s fun-filled tiki-themed tournament took place on October 23, 2020. Over 140 supporters safely gathered for a day of golf, great food, great drinks and great company, all in support of ENF’s flagship program, Ride With Emilio, which provides free transportation to underserved families who have children diagnosed with Cancer.
Golfers and supporters were greeted with leis and gift bags upon registration. Multiple sponsored holes held interactive games and prizes, with a helicopter drop as the tournament finale, and ended with dinner and awards.
At the end of a very successful event, Golf4Hope was able to raise enough funds to support nearly 3,000 safe and clean rides for the children and their families that count on ENF to help them through their journey with cancer.
Even in the midst of great adversity, we are proud that our TCL team continues to show the best of human kindness and generosity.
