Since joining the team at TCL just over a year ago, there has been one thing I have noticed from the start. There's a core principle our team follows, no matter the circumstances—we care!

The TCLcares initiative was started as a way for our team to give back to the communities we serve, supporting a variety of organizations and causes around the country. The month of December was an especially busy time for our team, so we wanted to recap everything we were fortunate to be a part of to help others end the year on a positive note!

TCL and the Anaheim Ducks support The Wooden Floor

The Wooden Floor is an organization located in Orange County, CA that helps low-income students boost their personal confidence and sense of accomplishment through the art of dance and mentorship. TCL and the Anaheim Ducks helped 15 students from The Wooden Floor by checking off items on their holiday wish lists. Our volunteers assisted the kids on a Target shopping spree and surprised every family with a new TCL Smart TV as an extra present!

The Minnesota Timberwolves Jr Dream Team and Big Brothers and Big Sisters Twin Cities

The Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization provides mentoring and support that helps the social and emotional development of thousands of children across America. Giving children the support they need ensures that they can have a better path forward through positive experiences. As a corporate sponsor of the Minnesota Timberwolves, we were honored with the opportunity to assist both of these organizations. We also provided TCL TVs for their annual Jr Wolves Dream Team Holiday Shopping event where kids got to meet and hang out with some of the brightest stars in the NBA.

HOPE Center for the Arts

Hope Center for the Arts (or HOPE) has been serving adults with disabilities through the arts for over 40 years. Their students have intellectual and physical disabilities that limit their ability to communicate and interact with others. In typical TCL fashion, we not only donated TVs for their Holiday Show, but we also became an official sponsor of the beloved event! We were proud to support HOPE'S 33rd Annual Holiday Show which showcased incredible artists, acting, singing, playing instruments, and much more!

ENF Adopt a Family

The Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF) is another organization that has been a big part of TCLcares. ENF provides underserved children with cancer the resources they need for medical treatments on their road to remission. From rides to and from medical facilities, to family support programs that assist financially and spiritually, ENF strives to make sure that those undergoing serious health detriments do not have to worry. Several children provided their Amazon wish lists and TCL team members were able to get them the items they wanted, helping to make for a special holiday season.

The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County

They really do say that dogs are a human’s best friend. One of the TCL team’s most recent visits was at the Pet Adoption Center of Orange County! We got to meet and play with a bunch of eager dogs that have come from a variety of different backgrounds, in search of their forever homes. We got to spend the day walking, petting, and comforting sweet animals while also providing some TVs as gifts for the center’s volunteers.

Looking Ahead…

We emphasize giving back as much as possible. As part of the holiday season, this was the perfect time to give back to the causes that we support to ensure that others are happy and filled with joy. TCLcares is something that never stops, and we look forward to an even more prosperous 2022!
