Our partnership with Roku allows us to improve our customers’ experience with continuous automatic updates. In the recent past, every TCL Roku TV ever sold has received – for free – updates that add innovative new features, including:

  • Pause/rewind Live TV
  • Free electronic program guide
  • Private listening
  • More Ways to Watch
  • Auto Game Mode (on select TVs)
  • Voice search for free content
  • And many more….

But we are just getting started! Working with our partners at Roku, we are proud to announce OS 9.3 updates that are coming soon to a TCL TV near you! 

With OS 9.3, you’ll benefit from a number of new features, all of them designed with you and your viewing in mind. Again, allowing you to enjoy more of the things you love.

Some of these exciting new features include:

  • Easy Voice Control enhancements:
    • Adding Spanish support (¡Que Bueno!) as well as improved performance and on-screen tips.
    • Improved support for our “works with” partners such as Google and Alexa.
  • Visual search results:
    • When you search for shows, results will be more visual, making it easy to use and streamline the playback process.
  • Improved support for News searches.
  • Even more personalization options with new themes, screensavers and customization.
  • Other enhancements include performance improvements, even faster boot times, and updates to the free Roku Mobile app.

This will all be rolled out for free to our new and existing users in the coming months, adding great new features, improved performance, and a better user experience. We can’t wait for you to enjoy these exciting new updates!
