Manage and operate cloud services, collaborating with offshore development team for service software iterations, data monitoring and security compliance. This position requires a proactive individual with strong knowledge of administering a large SaaS stack, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.


This is an on-site position located in our Bellevue, WA office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of AWS and GCP based applications and services. Perform regular maintenance, including software updates, security patches, and backups, to ensure system reliability and security.
  • Understands technical experience in the utilization and implementation of tools to monitoring the operational performance of the application, ensuring it meets service-level agreements.
  • Cooperate with engineering team for identifying, investigating and troubleshooting error conditions. Help development team resolving any live incidents.
  • manage security controls for a multi-cloud architecture. continuously improve security technology stack, process and procedures
  • Understand Configuration Management (CM) for software updates and migrations of code.
  • Contribute to a smooth MDM onboarding and offboarding experience, manage mobile devices remotely.
  • Network with multiple partners and server providers.
  • Assist global team located at different time zone.
  • Proactively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives around tools, systems, process, analytics and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in Compliance is a plus.
  • 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong programming skills (prefer Python, Shell scripts).
  • Experience in managing containers, big data, network load, databases, and cloud storage products. Familiar with K8S, MongoDB, RDS, LB, S3, EMR, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with a dynamic, global company. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Bilingual Chinese English is better.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and have strong attention to detail.
  • Must be both independent and a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, accessible, and flexible to the changing needs of the department and region.
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours in order to accomplish daily/monthly tasks. This position may require weekend and or shift work hours.
  • Excellent work ethics and reliability.

Working Conditions

This role will typically be performed in an office-based with occasional travel. The noise level in the work environment(s) is relatively quiet.
