Position Summary:

As TCL continues to rapidly expand its footprint in the Canadian market, we're enhancing our sales force to meet the growing demand for our cutting-edge consumer electronics. This is an exciting time to join a dynamic, fast-paced team that's shaping the future of the industry. With a strong focus on innovation and excellence, TCL Canada Electronics, Ltd. is looking for a passionate, results-driven Regional Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving our brand’s success across some of the largest regional retail accounts in Canada's consumer electronics market. Under the guidance of the VP of Sales and Director of Sales, this individual will take charge of achieving ambitious television and sound bar sales goals, hitting forecast targets, crafting impactful sell-in strategies, and championing these plans to TCL’s senior management and business planning teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on Strategic Planning: Work closely with the VP of Sales to develop short- and long-term strategies, including preparing annual business plans and budgets.
  • Rolling Sell-in Plan Management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of 90- and 120-day rolling sell-in plans by account.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Conduct weekly and daily sales forecasts and account reviews, generating reports and comparing results against objectives.
  • Achieve Shelf Share Goals: Drive shelf share achievements during annual assortment summits for each account.
  • Customer CPFR Calls: Lead or participate in weekly/bi-weekly CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) calls with customers and business planning teams.
  • Budget Management: Manage assigned budgets while optimizing revenue and controlling costs.
  • Vendor Program Negotiation: Negotiate annual vendor program agreements for each account, tracking associated expenditures and forecasting outcomes.
  • Financial Risk Management: Monitor and manage financial risks related to customer deductions and offsets.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure the execution of organization-wide programs and events, representing TCL as a leading consumer electronics brand.
  • Executive Relationship Management: Manage executive relationships with key regional accounts, overseeing metrics such as inventory levels, turnover, contracts, and driving sales through regular business reviews.
  • Online Portal Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for customer-related online portal activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience at key regional and/or national accounts
  • 40-50% travel to accounts, trade shows, trainings, summits and corporate meetings
  • Efficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Office
  • HEAVY experience creating, evaluating, and analyzing customer forecast is a must
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation and client management skills. High energy, passionate and articulate.

  • Proven track record of efficiently maintaining and growing customer relationships
  • Ability to interact at all levels within customer’s organization to increase shelf-share and drive increased business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
